Some now face drastic consequences.
Students from the Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences wrote an exam in their home office due to corona.
Some took advantage of this and cheated on the test.
For a few students this could have serious consequences.
Neu-Ulm - Students at the university in the Swabian town of
Neu-Ulm
are said to have
taken advantage of
the special Corona * measures during an
exam
and cheated on them.
As Chancellor Marcus Dingel said on Monday (September 21), a third of the students could have copied from each other in the test.
Several media had previously reported on the case.

Because of Corona pandemic * found the Information Management exam in

instead.
A little more than 100 students took part,
according
to the
university
,
35 of them were found
to have identical details in the papers
afterwards
.
The
attempt at deception
now leads to the participants failing in these cases.
Since eight of those affected took the exam for the third time, these students are now threatened with de-registration.
Because according to the
regulations,
the exams may be taken
a maximum of three times.

The objection proceedings are still ongoing.
"
Nobody admitted
the
attempted fraud
," said Dingel.
The university assumes, however, that the attempts to deceive can be proven properly.
Should there be a legal dispute, the administrative court in Augsburg * would have to decide.
