The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research today released university admission preferences for the 2020-2021 academic year.
The ministry's announcement, of which SANA received a copy, included the minimum limits for the total scores required to apply to the general comparison for the scientific branch, the preparatory year for medical colleges (general and parallel), the preferences of students in the eastern governorates, the families of the martyrs, the wounded and the missing, the children of the faculty members, the disabled, Arab and foreign students, non-resident Syrians, expatriates, and vocational high schools, in addition to To the minimum limits for direct registration for high school diploma students from the literary branch (general and parallel).
The Ministry set the minimum for the comparison in the preparatory year for medical colleges is 2,320 degrees for general admission and 2,295 degrees for parallel admission.
The ministry indicated that applications for preference and direct registration will be accepted in accredited registration centers in universities from Saturday 26-9-2020 until Tuesday 10-13-2020.
