I tended to carve archaeological sculptures and engravings that I drew from the civilizations of our ancestors, recreating in a contemporary way the exquisite and accurate drawings they left, which allowed the young plastic artist Nagham Mansour to achieve a presence in the world of composition within a short period of time.

Regarding her experience in the field of sculpture, she explained in an interview with Sana Cultural that she turned to this art because it simulates and embodies reality and helped her to do so by encouraging her family and friends after two exhibitions she held in Homs.

Mansour, who participated in an exhibition in the Masar Festival with more than 500 artworks for herself and her students, for various handicrafts, paintings in charcoal, ceramics, ceramics, flower making, drawing on glass and engraving on wood. In her village, the honorable one.

Mansour, who is keen on experimentation and constant research, relies on her work on clay, and on the reason for choosing it, she says, "This material is from nature and connects us to the nation's soil, which is our most valuable possession, but I also used gypsum, polyester, fiber, silicon, glass, wood, collage, environmental blends, cloth, velvet, beads, ceramics and wool."

As for the drawing work, all watercolor, acrylic, pastel and oil colors are used, charcoal pens, pencils, walnut ink, and drawing on canson and canvas papers in different sizes.

Regarding the topics she chooses in her work, Mansour explained that her teaching of art education in the institutes and schools of Homs contributed to refining her ideas and developing them in several directions that intersected with man in a variety of expressive, classic, emotional, historical and archaeological methods.

And about her passion for engraving ancient sculptures and wall drawings, she says that the idea stemmed from my love for the soil of the homeland, which was poured out with the blood of our martyrs.

On her tendency to pay attention to children's creativity and her targeting of this age group, she explained that her desire to be a true teacher devoted to her profession prompted her to change students' perception of art education to become a space for psychological comfort, creativity and innovation, awakening talents and encouraging them, developing awareness and aesthetic taste for art and leaving positive effects and impressions in the future.

Regarding the presence of women in her works, she mentioned that the female in the artistic milieu inspired the first creativity, as she embodied her in many of her works, including an oil painting from mythology entitled “Cupid of Love and his wife Psyche”.

It is noteworthy that Nagham Mansour was born in Homs and was honored by several international bodies, especially for her participation in the exhibition “My Feathers of Love and Peace among the Peoples” and for her sculpting monuments of the Kingdom of Qatana. She also participated in sculpture works and festivals in a number of Arab and foreign countries.
