Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said tonight (Monday) that the Corona Cabinet will convene to discuss tightening restrictions, as part of efforts to stop the spread of the disease.

At a cabinet meeting, Netanyahu criticized elected officials who are working to ease restrictions, saying: "Anyone who underestimated the guidelines, or worse, diluted them in the Knesset, should not ask how the illness went up and not make complaints. The reason for the illness is gatherings and not wearing a mask."

Netanyahu's remarks at the cabinet meeting come on the fourth day that a general closure is enforced across the country, a closure that will continue for the next three weeks.

As part of the closure, the movement of people more than a kilometer from the place of residence is prohibited, except in exceptional cases, such as the arrival of an employee or soldier at his place of work, the provision of medicine and food, assistance to a person with difficulty or distress, medical care and demonstrations.
