The man, considered the biggest cannabis herb trafficker in Toulouse and its region, had been on the run since December 15, 2017. He was targeted by three search warrants.
At the time of his alleged arrest, he was occupying the passenger seat in a stolen vehicle.
Nicknamed "
The Botch
", the suspect was sentenced to six years in prison during his trial in December 2017, which he did not attend.
He was appearing following a police operation carried out in the Reynerie district (Toulouse) in April 2016, during which the police officers of the departmental security and the RAID had seized nearly 250,000 euros in cash, 31 kilos of weed, 7.7 kilograms of cannabis resin and 900 grams of cocaine.
The traffickers attracted up to 700 customers per day.
