A soldier of the Guardia di Finanza serving at the Parisi-De Santis polling station in Foggia suffered the theft of his service pistol last night, while he was on duty at the polling station in via Marchese de Rosa.
According to what has been reconstructed so far, it would seem that the financier has been drugged: he would have woken up at around 4 in the morning realizing that he no longer had his service pistol, a Beretta kept in the holster.
The military immediately raised the alarm. Two other soldiers from the Manfredonia company (Foggia) were on duty with him.
The thieves entered through a window into the polling station. In addition to the gun, the thugs took away three cell phones and a wallet.
