A truck left the B2 on Monday and hit a tree head-on.
The truck drove from Murnau towards Spatzenhausen shortly after 11 a.m.
At the level of the Sauer tree nursery, the driver (53) left the road to the right for reasons that are still unexplained.
He counter-steered and landed back on the road, which he then crossed.
He then collided with a tree.
The driver was slightly injured.
The BRK rescue service brought him to the accident clinic.
The B 2 had to be completely closed for about an hour.
The truck was totaled.
The Murnau police and the Weilheim traffic police were on site.
The road maintenance service was called in to set up a diversion.
