The Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo Association published a tough letter on Tuesday against the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, at a time when the highest court must decide on the displacements of the judges who investigated Cristina Kirchner.

Signed by Hebe de Bonafini, the text labels the members of the Court as

"lords of death"

and "accomplices" of the Government of Mauricio Macri.

"Now you have another opportunity, small, to act with justice. But the boss has already given you the order and you are thinking about it," says the statement, the week that the Supreme Court could address the situation of federal judges Leopoldo Bruglia, Pablo Bertuzzi and Germán Castelli, who initiated legal cases to continue in the positions of those who were displaced.

With a strong tone, the letter continues: "They let the country be stolen from us, like Vicentín and so many others. And you, always, on the side of death, looking the other way."

Members of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation.

"I have called for an extraordinary agreement for Tuesday 29th of this month, so that the Supreme Court will issue on the proposals of justices Bruglia, Bertuzzi and Castelli," announced the president of the highest court, Carlos Rosenkrantz.

That day, the Court will have to deal with the request for per saltum with which the displaced judges tried to prevent this move.

The court can reject it, admit it and, at an extreme of productivity inconsistent with what it has done so far, even resolve it by giving an answer to the judges, the Senate and the whole of society.

The full letter

OPEN LETTER TO PEOPLE IN THE SUPREME COURT

To the people who occupy the positions in the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation We address you as we have done so many other times in these 43 years of daily struggle for life.

Now we write to you, lords of death, that you never answered a letter.

You were chosen to administer Justice.

The letter of Mothers against the Supreme Court.

In the dictatorship, the Court allowed, knowing everything that was happening, the murder of 30 thousand of our sons and daughters.

With the following governments it was very difficult for us to start seeing only some of the murderers in prison.

And you, always with your attitude, looked the other way.

They managed to get Macri to install himself in the government and from there they continued to be accomplices of death.

Yes, your government closed factories, schools, hospitals;

it expelled the scientists, small producers were left on the streets.

They let the country be stolen from us, like Vicentín and so many others.

And you, always, on the side of death, looking the other way.

Thousands of children starved to death during the government that you defend.

Thousands of indigenous people died fighting for their land and were defending life, while you looked the other way.

And now they have another opportunity, small, to act justly.

But the boss has already given you the order and you are thinking about it.

Look in the mirror.

And they will only see corpses and starving men, women and children staring at them.

Hebe de Bonafini, President of the Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo Association.
