The second preparation game of the Geretsried ice hockey team took a curious course.
In the end there was a 4-6 defeat in Peißenberg.
Coach Rudi Sternkopf is now hoping for ice ages in the home stadium as soon as possible.

Ultimately, the Peissenbergers would have benefited from a dozen training sessions on the ice, "and we still made too many mistakes".
However, the guests made a tailor-made start and after nine minutes used an excess situation by Benedikt May to lead.
The center forward also increased to 2-0 shortly afterwards.
Six minutes later, the River Rats met again in a power play to 3-0 through Dominic Fuchs.
“In the second third, Peißenberg then performed much more strongly,” reported Sternkopf.
In addition, his team had a number of penalties.
Moritz Birkner (25th) and Elias Maier (32nd) brought the TSV up to 2: 3;
Martin Morczinietz, who came on for David Albanese in the ESC box, then immediately had to accept the 3: 3 by Maximilian Malatzki (33rd).
Daniel Merl managed to take the lead again for Geretsried (38th), but Steven Wagner equalized immediately.
In the final section, the forces waned at the ESC.
Florian Imminger brought the ice hackers in front (50th) and also scored the 6: 4 winner with an empty net goal in the final minute.
"We still had one or the other chance, but Peißenberg has gotten stronger and stronger," reported Rudi Sternkopf.
The coach is now hoping for a few additional ice times for his protégés before the final two preparatory games at EC Pfaffenhofen (Friday, 8 p.m.) and at home against ESV Buchloe (Sunday, 6 p.m.).
"We blocked two more appointments in Bad Tölz, but it would be good if we could start regular training in the Geretsrieder Stadium this week," said the 53-year-old.
