From our special correspondent in Samos
Since the Moria fire, ten days ago, Samos firefighters have been ready to put out the fires that spring from the reception center for migrants and refugees on this other hot spot island after dark.
Only material damage - a few prefabricated containers including those that housed around 70 unaccompanied minors, were reduced to ashes - but a problem arises.
Is this a new strategy?

The Samos camp is nicknamed "little Moria", in reference to the reception center for migrants and refugees on Lesbos, the neighboring island.
Like Lesbos, Samos is located not far from the Turkish coast and therefore plagued by the influx of makeshift boats.
With a capacity of 648 places, its camp accommodated, at the beginning of the year, ten times more.
Today, there are 5,100 of them and as in Moria, they live in unsanitary conditions: prefabricated, basic tents, few access points to water and largely sanitary facilities.
