Nairo Quintana claims to be a "clean" runner

Colombian Nairo Quintana assured Tuesday that he was a “clean” rider after the opening of an investigation for suspicions of doping during the Tour de France 2020 within his Arkéa-Samsic team.

“The authorities visited my room and found food supplements rich in vitamins that were perfectly legal although not known to the French authorities.

I want to confirm that there was no doping substance

I mean that no doping substance has ever been found (...) I have nothing to hide and never had anything to hide (...) I have been throughout my sporting life a clean runner.

I have an impeccable biological passport, ”said the cyclist in a statement released on social networks.
