Geneva - Sana

The President of the International Council for Supporting Fair Trial and Human Rights, Abdul Hamid Dashti, affirmed that the countries of aggression conspiring against Syria continue to support terrorist organizations in it, which commit the most heinous crimes against Syrians.

Dashti said in an intervention during the 45th session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva that the investigation committee, when it lists the number of crimes committed, reminds the timidly of the "Qasd" militia supported by the American occupation forces and ascribes the crimes committed in Idlib to terrorist and mercenary organizations without indicating that they are working for the benefit of their operators, the countries of conspiring aggression against Syria. And its people, under Turkish auspices, commit their crimes with the support and funding of countries hostile to the UN system, even though they are member states of the United Nations.

Dashti clarified that the committee should have ended with a request from the Human Rights Council to implement the repeated recommendations, especially Item A, by seeking to stop the terrorist war of aggression against Syria and to create conditions to find a solution to the crisis in it because the years pass and the Syrian people and the nation in our region are exhausted and pay high prices so that they are not A blocking wall, resisting the plans supporting the Israeli occupation entity and passing humiliating settlement plans.

For his part, the representative of the Arab Jurists Union to the United Nations, Dr. Elias El-Khoury, confirmed in a similar intervention that the recent report of the Human Rights Committee on the human rights situation in Syria is politicized and said: In this report, the smell of hostility to the Syrian state and its institutions, especially the Syrian Arab Army, which has been defending since its inception The unity and integrity of the Syrian territories is in accordance with the tasks assigned to it in the Syrian constitution and not as the report claims to “attack the Syrians’ property. ”This falsification and reversal of the facts is another attempt to ignore the true perpetrator resulting from terrorism, occupation, unilateral coercive punishments and interference in internal Syrian affairs.

Khoury pointed out that the expansionist Turkish regime left its borders with Syria open to thousands of terrorists from all over the world to cross into Syria with the aim of destroying it and killing civilians, in addition to the illegal presence of the US occupation forces in the Syrian island, where US oil companies have brought in US oil companies to extract oil without respecting Syria’s sovereignty and unity. Its territories are as stipulated in Security Council Resolution 2254.

Khoury pointed out that the exchange of roles between the Turkish and American occupation on the one hand and the Israeli occupation on the other hand leads to starvation of the Syrian people and support for terrorist organizations ... this is not to mention the burning of agricultural crops and the plunder of Syrian wealth for more than ten years, stressing that these aggressive measures and policies are inconsistent with the law. International law, international humanitarian law and human rights amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity against the Syrian people.
