NEW - Daniel Craig's favorite watch, aka James Bond, has a rare numbered edition in three metals, gold, titanium and tantalum.

We are far from the ordeal suffered by the son of Zeus, condemned by his father to endure hunger and thirst for eternity.

This Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph, descendant of the model born in 1993, also agent 007's favorite watch accessory, plays on a trilogy of metals to offer a new watchmaking delight, to be worn on the wrist from next November.

With a diameter of 44mm, this numbered edition of Omega's 44mm Master Chronometer is made of grade 2 titanium, 18k Sedna gold and tantalum (for the base of the bezel and the middle links of the bracelet).

However, the use of Tantalum in watchmaking is nothing new for Omega, which has been using it since 1993. This diver's watch water-resistant to 300 meters features a bezel made from the in-house gold alloy, the Sedna 18 carats, equipped with a laser sandblasted diving scale.

The polished blue ceramic dial is decorated with laser-engraved waves and a date window at 6 o'clock.

The rings of the counters are enhanced with Sedna gold, while an engraved Sedna gold plaque on the side indicates the coin number.

On the back, the sapphire crystal case-back is decorated with the brand's hippocampus, laser-engraved and lacquered in white.

Through the sapphire crystal, you can admire the Co-Axial Master Chronometer 9900 caliber, certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).

Omega has used grade 2 titanium on numerous occasions before, on watches such as the Speedmaster X33 and previous editions of the Seamaster Diver 300M.

Tantalum, a shiny blue-gray metal that is rarer than gold, harder than steel and very resistant to corrosion, has been used by the brand since 2013. Dark, dense, flexible and very conductive of heat and water. electricity, it is particularly difficult to work.

Sedna gold, designed by Omega, is an 18-carat rose / red gold alloy that is more resistant to fading than the standard 18-carat red gold usually used in watchmaking.

Also used since 2013, it allows to obtain a beautiful red color.

As for Omega rose gold, it is a mixed alloy of gold (at least 75%), copper for color and palladium for stability.

Result: a unique, warm and particularly durable reddish tone.
