The Ministry of Health updated tonight (Saturday) that 8,221 people have been diagnosed in Corona in the past day.
This increased the number of verified infections in Israel to 226,586.
Yesterday, results were obtained for 61,101 tests, with the percentage of positive for the virus being 13.8%.
The test data and their results are not final and may change in subsequent updates from the Ministry of Health.
The number of active patients is 67,628.
1,439 patients are hospitalized, of whom 178 are respirators and 708 are seriously ill.
