To encourage excellence, diligence and perseverance, the Governorate of Damascus countryside today honored 25 male and female students from public and private schools and 50 other children of the martyrs who obtained the full mark in the primary and secondary education certificates in their scientific and literary branches at the governorate level and presented them with in-kind and material gifts during a ceremony held in the educational complex In the suburb of Qudsaya in Damascus countryside.

During the ceremony, a group of students presented a dancing painting expressing patriotism, while one of the students presented a poetry painting expressing the importance of excellence and educational achievement.

In the speech of the children of the martyrs, the student Layal Barakat emphasized in a speech that has the importance of knowledge and excellence and blessed all the students for their excellence, noting that the children of the martyrs will follow in the footsteps of their fathers who sacrificed their lives for the homeland.

In statements to SANA, a group of female students who obtained the full mark in the General Secondary “Scientific Branch” expressed their happiness for excellence, stressing the importance of diligence and diligence to chart the path of excellence in addition to the role of teachers and parents in encouraging them to obtain the full mark.

Shahid Al-Ezbet pointed out that she faced some difficulties during the second semester as a result of suspending school attendance, but thanks to the encouragement of her family and following up on the lessons through the educational satellite channel, she was able to obtain the full mark, expressing her pride in this honor, while the student Hanin Ghassan Muhammad considered an early school dropout As a result of suspending school attendance, she made double efforts to maintain her level, noting that thanks to the educational platforms and the encouragement of teachers, she was able to reach this excellence, which is the most important in her life.

Muhammad Ghaith Musab Al-Kanj, who has a full mark in the Basic Education Certificate, affirmed that time management is the basis of excellence, saying that excellence was the result of previous study efforts and continuous follow-up by my family and my teachers who gave me all the care and attention.

In a similar statement, Director of Damascus Countryside Education Maher Faraj considered that this honor is a distinct initiative from the Damascus countryside governorate for students to take care of them and provide them with everything necessary to pursue their educational attainment while keen to support the educational sector in the governorate.

For his part, the Governor of Damascus Countryside, Engineer Alaa Munir Ibrahim, confirmed in a statement to reporters that the governorate was keen to honor this group of students who excelled in the basic and secondary education certificates at the level of the Damascus countryside to offer them a word of thanks and encouragement for them to follow up and university academic achievement, stressing that the governorate will present all Types of care and attention for these students to achieve their aspirations.

The honor was attended by the Secretary of the Damascus Countryside Branch of the Arab Socialist Baath Party, Engineer Radwan Mustafa, and a number of members of the People's Assembly and the teaching and educational cadres in the governorate.
