Amman - Sana
The Syndicate of Owners of Clearance and Goods Transport Companies in Jordan, Dhaifallah Abu Aqula, announced today that the Nassib Jaber crossing on the Jordanian-Syrian border will open for trucks in both directions tomorrow.
Abu Aqoula said in a statement today that the concerned authorities have informed that tomorrow, Sunday, the door for shipping will be opened for exported and imported goods, passing through the transit road, and trucks heading to the Gulf countries, Egypt and Iraq, in addition to trucks entering Jordan.
Abu Aqoula explained that the system for shipping goods at the crossing will be "back to back", with the exception of transit truck drivers who hold a visa to enter Jordan.
Abu Aqoula indicated that so far, the date for the return of passenger traffic through the crossing has not been set.
It is noteworthy that the Nassib Jaber border crossing was opened in late 2018 for passengers and trucks, but the Corona pandemic imposed its limitation in both directions to trucks.
