The third wave of COVID-19 in Hong Kong stabilized. Today (27th) there were 6 new cases in Hong Kong, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 5,066.

Among the new cases, 5 were imported from abroad and the remaining 1 was local infection, but the source of infection is unknown.

The newly diagnosed 22-year-old man involved in the incident lives in Hengchang Building, Tai Nan Street, Sham Shui Po and works as a site level worker.

The victim recently worked at the Mutai Street site in Kai Tak. Ten colleagues had rest and dine together. Nine people were classified as close contacts and sent for quarantine. One person tested positive.

The authorities will arrange for more than 500 people on the site to be tested, and the victim’s building has been sent to the residents for testing.
