Director of the Infectious Diseases Division of the Center for Health Protection of the Department of Health, Zhang Zhujun, said at a press conference today that the 22-year-old male construction worker was working at the Mutai Street site in Kai Tak, and the remaining nine colleagues who had rested and ate together were required to be sent to the quarantine center. The two are unwell, one has tested positive initially and the other tested negative.

Zhang quoted the site supervisor as saying that workers are required to wear masks. There is a rest room on the site. Workers sometimes order take-outs and meals together. She urged: "If you can stop, you should stop as much as possible."

Zhang Zhujun pointed out that there were more than 500 workers on the site involved, but most of them did not have much contact with the confirmed male construction workers. The authorities have sent sample bottles to more than 500 workers on the site for testing; the confirmed person lives in Da Nan Street, Sham Shui Po. In Cheong House, the authorities have also sent sample bottles to residents of the building.
