The police launched an operation to crack down on the sale of unlicensed alcohol. At about 1 am today (29th), the Yau Ma Tei Division Miscellaneous Investigation Team smashed an unlicensed bar at a unit at No. 27 Ningbo Street and seized about 420 alcoholic drinks worth a total of About 57,000 yuan.

During the operation, a woman surnamed Leung (47 years old) was arrested on suspicion of "unlicensed selling of alcoholic beverages", "unlicensed possession of alcoholic beverages for sale" and violating the "Prevention and Control of Disease (Regulations and Instructions) (Business and Premises)" Regulations (Chapter 599F); another 15 men and 8 women (aged 38 to 64) were arrested on suspicion of "drinking in places without a license" and suspected of violating the "Prevention and Control of Disease (Prohibition of Mass Gathering) Regulations" "(Chapter 599G) was voted against.

All people are being detained for investigation.

During the operation, the police seized about 420 alcoholic beverages with a total value of about 57,000 yuan.
