An agreement with the regions as a strong symbol of a new relationship of trust with the regions.
Monday, Jean Castex, surrounded by ministers Jacqueline Gourault (Communities) and Alain Griset (TPE-PME), wanted to display commitments and a working method with regional authorities on the recovery plan.

We are finalizing an extremely important step
", declared the Prime Minister at the end of a signature aiming to unite "
the forces in the face of the crisis
", and to territorialize "
as much as possible
" the actions "
as close as possible to the ground
" .

This agreement, which ratified the work carried out on July 30, resulted in an increase in the State's partnership and a securing of regional revenues.
This represents 600 million euros from 2020 to offset part of the regional losses caused by the crisis, i.e. 1.4 billion euros.
In addition, the regions and the State undertake to invest equally in the recovery, to the tune of around 20 billion each over the period.
