In response to the Hong Kong epidemic, the students have been away from campus for some time.

Recently, the Education Bureau announced that students at all levels will gradually resume face-to-face instruction.

After learning the news, Teacher Zhao Xiao, in order to make the students have classes in a safe environment, ingeniously designed an anti-epidemic isolation board that students can make to block the flying.

Don’t Xiaoyu, this anti-epidemic isolation board contains the STEAM elements necessary for current education. It combines science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics to guide students to explore.

Students need to measure the length of the desktop through practical activities, estimate the length of the hose, and draft a design drawing, think about how to make the anti-epidemic isolation board stable, and fully reflect the spirit and innovation of STEAM.

The combined device of the anti-epidemic isolation board is also prepared by the teacher himself.

Teachers even took advantage of the suspension of the students, from the perspective of the students, put themselves in the hands of the students to make an epidemic prevention isolation board to find out the difficulties that the students may encounter, work together, and after many improvements and tests, finally got the most satisfactory results! Looking forward to activities with classmates!

On the first day of class resumption, the school arranged for students in Primary 5 and Primary 6 to conduct activities in the first three classes, and make their own anti-epidemic isolation boards by themselves.

On the same day, the students were eager to try. The students divided the work and cooperated in the activity, devoted themselves to the activities, discussed enthusiastically with the group members, learned from each other's strengths, and completed individual epidemic prevention isolation boards according to the design concept of the group.

This activity not only cultivates students' creativity, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, but also enables students on long-departed campuses to break the barriers faster and rebuild their team spirit.

After the design activity is completed, each group needs to report the design concept and share their feelings. The students are vying to share and learn from each other. By observing the designs of other students, they can reflect on whether their own products are inadequate, and then make corrections and improvements. To become their own unique anti-epidemic isolation board, the teachers also appreciate the performance of the students during the activity.

In the subsequent class, the students all sat in the position with the anti-epidemic isolation board made by themselves, and seemed to be very careful. This anti-epidemic isolation board is really meaningful. I believe the students will cherish this anti-epidemic isolation board.
