Corona spread: The death toll in the world has crossed the million mark
The death rate from the virus in the world reached another dubious record, with the United States with the highest mortality list at the top, with over 200,000 patients dying, followed by Brazil with more than 140,000 and in third place India, where the epidemic claimed more than 95,000 people.

The death toll from corona virus worldwide has crossed the 1 million mark, according to data from Johns Hopkins University tonight (Tuesday).
The country with the highest death toll is the United States with more than 200,000 deaths, and is also a leader in infection data with more than seven million verified corona carriers.
It is followed by Brazil with more than 140,000 deaths and India with more than 95 deaths.
In Mexico more than 76,000 people have died so far, in Britain more than 42,000, and in Italy about 36,000 deaths have been recorded from the virus.
A high number of deaths from corona was also recorded in Peru, where the total number of deaths was higher than 32,000, and in France and Spain more than 31,000 people died from the virus in each country.

The epidemic broke out last December in Wuhan, China, and so far more than 33.2 million people worldwide have been infected.
After the United States which leads with seven million infected, is India with more than six million verified corona carriers.
In Brazil, more than 4.8 million people were diagnosed as positive for Corona, and in Russia more than 1.1 million.

A high rate of infection was also recorded in Colombia, where the number of people diagnosed with the virus crossed the 813,000 mark, and in Peru more than 805,000 were positive.
In Spain, more than 748,000 people were infected, in Mexico more than 730,000 were diagnosed, and more than 711,000 were found to be positive for Corona in Argentina.
In South Africa more than 670,000 people were infected, in France more than 577,000, in Chile almost 460,000, in Iran about 450,000 corona carriers were diagnosed, and in Britain more than 441,000 were found to be positive for the virus.

The World Health Organization's senior emergency expert, Mike Ryan, said the death toll from the corona was higher than a million.
"The data currently being reported probably represent a lower number of people infected and dead from the virus," Ryan said.
"When you count something, you can't do it perfectly. The real numbers are probably higher."
