The General Electricity Company of Homs recently conducted maintenance and rehabilitation works for a number of transformers and transmission centers in preparation for the arrival of the winter season, with the aim of reducing as much as possible the emergency breakdowns.

Engineer Saleh Omran, Director of the General Company for Electricity in Homs, indicated in a statement to SANA that the company's workshops have recently carried out a series of periodic maintenance and put several transfer centers in the countryside and the city into service. More than 20 electrical transmission centers and 25 new transfer centers.

Omran explained that the 20K line had been rehabilitated.

Omran confirmed that the machinery in the company is fully prepared, as more than 15 cranes have been maintained, bringing the number of ready-to-work cranes to 21, in addition to the maintenance of two drilling machines.
