Russian Presidents Vladimir Putin and French Presidents Emmanuel Macron called on Wednesday for a
“complete” end to
the fighting in Karabakh and said they were ready to step up diplomatic efforts to help resolve the conflict, the Kremlin said.
“Vladimir Poutine and Emmanuel Macron called on the parties to the conflict to completely cease fire and, as soon as possible, to lower tensions and show maximum restraint,”
the Russian presidency said in a statement.

Putin and Macron discussed
"concrete parameters for future cooperation, above all within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group,"
the statement said.
Established within the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), the Minsk group on the Karabakh dossier is made up of Russia, the United States and France.

to adopt a statement that would be issued on behalf of the co-chairs of the Minsk group and would call for an
"immediate"
end
to hostilities and the start of talks, the Kremlin added.
