Concern over the country's health situation is winning over a large majority of French people.
According to a survey by the Odoxa-Dentsu Consulting institute for
Le Figaro
and Franceinfo, 79% are worried about the health of their loved ones and 53% say they are worried about themselves.
Government action thus remains severely judged.
For three-quarters of the population, the executive
"does not make the right decisions at the right time"
and does not
"know where it is going"
.
Worse, they continue to think that the government is
"not telling them the truth"
.

A paradox emerges: public opinion remains in agreement with the restrictive measures but… not with all.
The obligation to wear a mask outdoors in the cities concerned, for example, arouses broad support (70%), as has the recent closure of gymnasiums and multipurpose rooms in heightened alert zones.
But the support is limited on the closure of bars and restaurants - 50% of support, as many opponents - and on a possible general reconfinement which is him, very majority rejected (74%).
Despite everything, citizens are more optimistic about the country's ability to better face a new wave.
This is particularly the case concerning the number of masks available to the population (78%), the collective ability to better respect barrier gestures (57%) and the management of patients in health services (60%).
