Hundreds of protesters gathered tonight (Thursday) in Tel Aviv to protest the closure and the functioning of the government.

The protesters marched from Rothschild Street towards the city’s Railway Street.

At around 21:00, an attempt was made to run over the place.

In the documentation distributed the protesters are seen blocking traffic.

A vehicle coming towards them accelerated, resulting in a woman being slightly injured.

Following this, the Black Flags movement stated that "the incitement heard from the prime minister and MKs from the Likud leads to another criminal attack on the demonstrators against Netanyahu and the corruption."

According to them, "the time has come for the ombudsman to wake up and prosecute Mickey Zohar and other hate echoes."

Let him not come to weep at funerals when demonstrators are murdered here.

We expect the Israel Police to deviate from its custom and catch the criminals, and the State Attorney's Office to prosecute them. "

Meanwhile, Deputy Attorney General Dina Zilber rejected the request of members of the Fortress of Democracy, represented by Adv. Dafna Holtz Lachner, to cancel the demonstration-restrictive legislative process, claiming a conflict of interest between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Zilber wrote in her reply that demonstrations by their nature are often directed against government policy or against one of its members, and therefore it can be argued that all members of the government in general, and the prime minister in particular, have a personal touch and therefore a built-in conflict of interest.

Zilber adds that as long as this is done in Knesset legislation, the State Attorney's Office sees no need to intervene.
