As the police announced on Thursday, the two 23-year-old men and a 21-year-old woman should not have helped the drunk man who fell into the water.
The trio is now
accused of
manslaughter by omission
.
The 22-year-old was found dead from the canal on September 12.
Through evidence from witnesses, the criminal investigation team tracked down the three suspects who are said to have previously been on the road with the young man who had died.
The investigators accuse the arrested of not helping the 22-year-old helpless because of his alcoholism.
All three would have seen their companion fall into the water.
