A thirty-something, already indicted for the rape of a septuagenarian in September near Saumur, was indicted Thursday for the rape in Vienne of a nine-year-old girl as well as an attempted kidnapping of a adult, and admitted the facts, AFP learned from the Angers prosecutor's office.

He was indicted for the rape of a minor (under, editor's note) 15 years old, for kidnapping with a view to committing a crime
" on this little girl, as well as for "
attempted kidnapping of a woman 40 years old,
”the Angers public prosecutor, Eric Bouillard, told AFP.
The indictments made on Thursday relate to the facts which occurred on the same day in Vienne, Sunday, September 19.
Already in detention after his indictment for the rape near Saumur, the thirty-something had been taken into custody Wednesday in Angers for the facts attributed to him in Vienne.

The gendarmes from the Poitiers search section came to hear him and he didn't want to say anything.
But he then admitted the facts before the examining magistrate on Thursday,
”explained Eric Bouillard.

He said (to the judge) to have committed these facts because he was acting under the influence of drugs
", added the magistrate, specifying that he consumed several types.
Sentenced several times

The start of police custody in Angers was carried out under the control of the Poitiers prosecutor, who then relinquished jurisdiction for our benefit,
" said Eric Bouillard.
The two parts of the case, committed in two different departments, were therefore entrusted to the same investigating judge in Angers, he said.

Convicted several times, but never for facts of this nature, this 31-year-old man, without a real fixed address, was released from prison last December.
On Friday, September 17, the man knocked around 6.30 p.m. at the home of a 74-year-old woman who had opened the door to him, in Varennes-sur-Loire (Maine-et-Loire), near Saumur.
After raping her, he left with the victim's car and means of payment.
Two days later, on Sunday, he tried to force a woman who was jogging in Varennes (Vienne) into his car.
She struggled and was able to escape.
About an hour later, a few km away, in Villiers (Vienne), the man is suspected of having kidnapped a 9-year-old girl who was leaving the bakery, of having put it in the trunk of his car before to violate her a little further.
The man was arrested the next day, Monday, in Saumur.
