More than 300 Chinese-flagged boats settle off the Peruvian coast and, threatening overfishing, a reaction: "Peru cannot afford such a loss."
The warning was made by the US Embassy in Lima in a public communication last week.
The Chinese Embassy responded, within hours, that it respected international law and that Chinese fishing companies were required to limit themselves to "operating on the high seas" ....
