Various public transportation service arrangements:

MTR: Following the Mid-Autumn Festival last year, there was no overnight service, and no overnight train service this year.

KMB: On the day of the Mid-Autumn Festival, in response to actual passenger demand, resources will be increased to strengthen evening bus services in Yau Tsim Mong, Kwun Tong and Hong Kong Island to facilitate public travel. The midnight and overnight routes will maintain normal services.

New World First Bus and Citybus: In response to passenger volume, the service of multiple routes will be enhanced from October 1st to 2nd. Routes include: 102, 118, 619, 681, N118, N121, N122 and N619; other overnight routes are also available Services will be strengthened according to the situation.

The Transport Department stated that all major public transport services, including MTR, franchised buses, trams, green minibuses and ferries, will maintain normal service hours.

Depending on the needs of passengers, the operators will enhance services when necessary, and some special bus routes will also provide services.

Due to the cancellation of major festivals due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there are no special road closure arrangements on Hong Kong Island and Kowloon during the Mid-Autumn Festival.

In some parts of the New Territories, including Tuen Mun, Tsuen Wan and Ma On Shan, road closures and traffic control will be implemented on individual road sections.

Public venue arrangements:

Except for public beaches and barbecue venues, most of the parks and recreational facilities under the Leisure and Cultural Services Department are open as usual, and some venues will have extended opening hours during the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Aldrich Bay Park theme waterscape and imitation fishing shed (Eastern District): Tomorrow (October 1) the opening hours will be extended by half an hour, and the opening hours will be from 6:30 am to 11 pm.

Hong Kong Velodrome Park Artificial Lake (Sai ​​Kung District): Tomorrow (October 1), the opening hours will be extended by 3 hours, and the opening hours will be from 6:30 am to 2 am.

The opening hours on October 2 will be extended by two hours, from 6:30 am to 1:00 am.

And Victoria Park Central Lawn (Wan Chai District): October 2 and 3 will be closed from 1 am to 2 am for cleaning.

In addition, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department reminds members of the public not to burn wax, put down sky lanterns or litter garbage in the venues, and will send additional personnel to patrol the relevant locations, calling on those present to observe the gathering restrictions and the regulations on wearing masks.
