Are you a reserve fighter pilot holding U.S. citizenship?

Did the global aviation crisis leave you without a job?

We have good news for you.

The U.S. Marine Corps has recently contacted all of its pilots in the past as well as those who were not in its ranks.

These are called upon to apply for joining an active service of up to four years, under which they will receive an impressive array of monetary rewards.

Among other things, a bonus of $ 100,000 is offered to those who join by October 2021 and $ 210,000 to those who extend the service for another six years.

Applications can be submitted until Friday, November.

Those who have not been active pilots in the corps in the past will be attached first to reserve service and later to active service.

To make the application particularly attractive, applicants are not required to commit in advance for a period of four consecutive years, but can opt for shorter routes.

The choice stems from the awareness that many pilots will want to return to the civilian market when the corona crisis passes.

Competition with civil airlines for quality mid-level and multi-major manpower is not new, but the many changes in the airline make it possible to recruit - even for a part-time period - fine manpower.

Another reason for the decision stems from the fact that the corps is upgrading its squadrons and transferring them to the 21st century.

That is why the F-35 and the CH-53K helicopter are given preferential treatment.

The corps requires young pilots to be converted to these tools - thus filling the ranks.

Naturally, the corps spokesman did not elaborate on the squadrons to which the new pilots would be assigned, but noted: "This proposal came at a difficult time for the civil aviation world, and we are aware that many pilots are sitting at home. We are actually giving these people another chance to serve their country."
