Today, the French Ministry of Health announced the registration of 12,148 new cases of coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
Reuters reported that the ministry confirmed that the total number of infections has reached 589,653 cases since the virus began spreading, while the total number of deaths reached 32,155.
Yesterday, French Health Minister Olivier Ferrand announced that his country's government was ready to impose more restrictions in some areas, especially the capital, Paris, in case the health situation related to the virus did not improve.
