Emergency services in Poland arrested a German right-wing extremist.
The man was caught last week in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship in the north-west of the country, the Ministry of Intelligence Coordination announced on Thursday.
He is suspected of being a member of an "organized criminal group with a terrorist character" active in Poland and other countries.
"On the Internet, especially in social networks, he showed his radical, anti-system views and supported right-wing extremist organizations," it said.
According to the investigators, it did not stop at the post on the net: During the search of his home and work place, explosives, ammunition, detonators and a tear gas grenade were discovered.
The public prosecutor's office accuses the man of illicit possession of weapons and ammunition.
He was temporarily detained for three months.
The investigation continued and further arrests could not be ruled out, the ministry said.
Right-wing extremist activities have also recently been uncovered in Germany.
In the Lower Saxony city of Celle, the public prosecutor's office brought charges against a 21-year-old at the beginning of the week - among other things because of suspicion of sedition and the preparation of a serious act of violence that was dangerous to the state.
The man was apparently planning specific attacks against religious minorities in Germany and had acquired an arsenal for this purpose.
Further right-wing extremist suspected cases were uncovered with the protection of the constitution in North Rhine-Westphalia and the Berlin police.
Accordingly, in North Rhine-Westphalia three people from an observation group for the protection of the constitution are said to have distributed videos "with an Islamic or xenophobic connotation".
According to research by the ARD magazine "Monitor", several officials in Berlin are said to have been part of a racist chat group.
