Stein near Nuremberg: Franconian grandma inspires with humor
The idea for the Instagram account came to him relatively spontaneously, says grandson Christian on the phone.
At first he only took pictures and videos of his 91-year-old grandmother, "because she has such a funny, Franconian, direct sense of humor".
He always
posted
that on
Snapchat
.
“I got a lot of feedback for that.” People wanted more.
In March 2018 he came up with the idea for the Instagram account.
Christian thought to himself: "In addition to fashion, beauty and fitness blogs, why not just create a page that spreads a good mood?"
The account gained
followers
relatively quickly
.
Grandma Lisbeth's humor is well received.
"Hohoho, according to grandma, we wish you nothing!
(nothing at all) ”, Christian wrote in a post on December 7th.
With slogans like “Geh ham etzadla”, she inspires almost 29,000 followers.

Instagram account enthusiastic: There is a story behind it
Christian has always got on well with his grandma.
The whole family is on good terms.
But one moment changed everything for him again: When his grandpa died.
The thought hit him at the pastor's sermon.
"The pastor told what grandpa had experienced." Then he noticed that there was more to this person, with whom he occasionally played football and "Don't get angry".
A completely different story.
"I would have liked to hear from him personally."
He noticed how precious the time is and that he wants to use it with his grandmother and, above all, enjoy it.
Christian now visits his grandma every day.
He doesn't really have time.
Christian studies, works on the side, goes to sport, has friends and hobbies.
“It's a matter of priorities.” If you want, you can get everything under one roof.
“Of course everyone is broken after work and wants to lie down on the sofa.
But I can do that with grandma too.
I enjoy it and am happy ”.
Franconian grandma enthuses on Instagram - but she doesn't even know the social medium
He regularly shares this feeling with his followers on Instagram.
His grandmother
doesn't know what to do
with the
social medium
, nor does she have anything to do with the Internet.
At first she wasn't too impressed by the idea: “Oh, what's that supposed to interest people?” Asked Grandma.
But Christian knows his grandmother: "She goes along with every nonsense that I think of."

keeps
the

away from her.
Grandson Christian gave numerous interviews.
Local media, but also large TV channels such as ZDF and Sat1 called.
Grandson Christian starts action on Lissi's birthday: Grandma is overwhelmed
Sometimes she realizes that a lot of people are interested in her.
For
example, on
her
birthday
, Christian asked fans to write letters to his grandmother.
She was completely overwhelmed by the crowd: "Do you know them all?"
On Wednesday (December 11th) there was a big book party, because the grandma-grandchild duo wrote a book together with the author Michelle Schrenk.
In the book “Just nonsense in my head.
The good mood cookbook ”, grandma and grandchildren share Grandma Lissi's recipes.
And that goes down well, as do T-shirts or hoodies that are printed with Grandma Lissi's sayings, even if “it's not yet profitable”.
That's not what Christian is about, he enjoys it.
Christian donates part of the income to a multigenerational house in Stein.
Grandma and grandchildren's Instagram account inspires others too
Christian especially likes the fact that he can inspire other people
to spend
more time with their
grandparents
.
Nobody has to go to their grandparents every day like him.
He now gets 50 to 100 messages on Instagram - a day.
People tell him their story or that the account made them spend more time with their grandparents again or, for example, call grandma more often.
Was the success of the Instagram account a surprise for Christian?
"I thought it would be well received." But how many people are interested in his grandma, "I didn't expect that",
