The US embassy in Mexico City announced the killing of an American diplomat in northwestern Mexico.
Russia Today quoted the US ambassador to Mexico, Christopher Landau, as saying last night in a tweet he wrote on his Twitter page ... that “officials learned of the killing of an official in the United States Consulate General in Tijuana on the first of this month,” without giving further details about the incident.
Landau indicated that his country's embassy will work with law enforcement authorities in Mexico until justice is done.
