Kenzo Takada was a pioneer in many ways.
In 1958 he was the
first male student to study
at
Bunka Fashion College in Tokyo
and then came to Paris by ship.
In 1970 the big breakthrough followed: Kenzo Takada founded his own fashion label KENZO in Paris and caused a sensation with his first fashion show.
He was
the first Japanese
to ever host a fashion show.
