The Studies and Documentation Center of the Labor and Planning Department of the Palestine Liberation Organization confirmed that the Israeli occupation authorities continued to escalate their violations against the Palestinian people during last September, which resulted in the death of two Palestinians, the injury of 60 and the arrest of 320 others.
According to the agency "Wafa", the center stated in its report issued today on the most prominent Israeli violations that Dawood Talaat Al-Khatib, 45 years old from Bethlehem, died as a result of deliberate medical negligence in the occupation detention centers, while Nidal Muhammad Akram Jabareen, 54 years old, from Jenin, was shot dead by the occupation forces, indicating that The occupation authorities have detained 67 bodies belonging to martyrs, in blatant violation of international humanitarian law.
The report indicated that 60 Palestinians were injured as a result of the attacks of the occupation forces during their storming of Palestinian towns and villages, in addition to the arrest of about 320 Palestinians from the West Bank, occupied Jerusalem and the besieged Gaza Strip, including 160 children and 39 women.
The report pointed out that the occupation authorities announced the establishment of 1540 new settlement units south of Bethlehem and seized 3807 dunums in the center of Hebron, and the two ancient castles, Deir Saman and Deir Qala, northwest of Kafr al-Dik town and east of Deir Ballut in Salfit, as well as demolishing 33 houses and 51 agricultural and commercial establishments.
The report indicated that Israeli settlers committed 63 attacks against Palestinians and their property, wounding 14 Palestinians, including three children and a pregnant woman, in addition to uprooting and burning 545 fruit trees and damaging about 20 car tires.
In the besieged Gaza Strip, the report indicated that the occupation air forces launched a series of raids and the occupation forces entered the Palestinian lands, fired their machine guns about 80 times and arrested 23 Palestinians on the eastern outskirts of the strip, and the occupation aircraft sprayed toxic pesticides on agricultural crops in the north of it and shot at fishermen in the sea. Gaza 27 times, which led to the sinking of a fishing boat and damage to another.
