The Syrian branch of trade in Homs began receiving the apple crop from farmers in various regions of the governorate.
The director of the foundation's branch, Imad Nadour, stated that the quantities received from farmers so far amount to 300 tons, pointing out that the marketing plan includes receiving all quantities of types that can be stored according to the approved prices, which ranged between 150 and 650 pounds per kilo according to type and classification.
In the same context, we show that the Corporation branch has received 1000 tons of potato crop from farmers so far, with the aim of positive intervention in the markets when its prices increased.
Nadour pointed out that the receipt takes place from the various villages of the countryside of Homs, “Al Qusayr, Talbisa, Rastan, Qatina, and Riblah ... .. indicating that a new mechanism was used to receive the crops from the farmers based on guaranteeing the whole field from the farmer at a certain price and then sorting the material later in order to ensure the rights of the farmer.
