In France, about 17,000 new cases of infection were registered yesterday;

In Spain - 11 thousand;

In the UK more than 10,000;

In Russia about 10,000;

In the Netherlands about 4,000 and in Belgium - 3,175.

In view of the high infection rates, which also result from an increase in the number of corona tests in the various countries, consideration is being given to tightening restrictions on the population in order to prevent the spread of the epidemic to dimensions that would cause local health systems to collapse.

Madrid, the capital of Spain, has been generalized, despite opposition from local authorities.

About a third of all corona cases in the second wave in Spain are recorded in Madrid.

The partial closure, which has so far been imposed on the city's poor neighborhoods, has not helped reduce cases of infection and the federal left-wing government has decided to extend it to the entire city and several districts in its vicinity.

The mayor of Madrid, from the Conservative Party, came out with a scathing attack on the central government decision and accused it of wanting to cause economic chaos in the city for political reasons.

In France, health chiefs are warning that hospitals in the country are not prepared to face a further increase in the number of people infected with the corona virus and the number of serious patients.

Intensive care units all over France have about 5,000 beds, about a fifth of which are already occupied by Corona patients.

In the cities of Lille, Lyon and Toulouse, the capacity of beds in intensive care units reaches 30%.

If occupancy reaches 60%, municipalities will consider imposing local closures.

A difficult situation is expected in a month at the hospitals in Paris, Marseille and Aix-en-Provence.

As of today, new restrictions will be imposed on Paris residents.

The possibility of imposing a renewed general closure on the capital is also being considered.

The government is facing increasing criticism of its "indecisive and confused" policy.

Across the UK, too, the territories subject to local arrangements have been expanded in the face of the spread of the plague.

Although Prime Minister Boris Johnson estimated that by Christmas the "scientific equation" would change with regard to the epidemic by finding a vaccine or raising the number of tests. However, he warned that the British could face a "very difficult" month, even beyond Christmas.

In the Netherlands, the Public Health Institute said the second corona wave in the country was caused mainly by young people returning from summer holidays in Spain and southern Spain, causing the virus to spread.

US, nine states reported a record increase in the number of people who contract the virus corona during the last week. This is especially in countries where the cool weather makes the residents of the areas to gather in homes and offices at the expense of activities recommended in the open air.

According to statistics, Kentucky, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Montana were recorded on Monday Records, with nearly 49,000 new cases reported across the United States, the highest in seven weeks.

In the city and in the state of New York, there was concern that the area was on the verge of a second outbreak, but in the last two days there has been a decrease in the percentage of positive tests and the number of patients in the state.
