Tonight (Monday), the police arrested a 28-year-old Haifa resident on suspicion of stabbing her partner and seriously injuring him, after a report was received at Hotline 100 earlier about a stabbing incident on Barzilai Street in the city.
According to medical sources, her partner, a 29-year-old resident of Acre, is being treated at the Rambam Medical Center in Haifa. His condition is defined as serious and his consciousness is vague.
Shevach Rotenstreich, a senior medic at MDA, said: "When we arrived at the scene, we saw the wounded man lying on the street with a vague consciousness and suffering from bleeding injuries to his body. We provided him with life-saving medical care that included bandages and stopped bleeding, and evacuated him in critical condition to the hospital.
