Trump's treatment can continue in the White House, says his doctor Sean Conley. But it is still too early for a final all-clear.

After Donald Trump announced on Twitter on Monday that he wanted to leave the Walter Reed Hospital, his personal physician Sean Conley commented on the state of the US President.

Trump is not yet "over the hill after the therapy, but can still leave the hospital," the doctor told journalists.

Treatment could just as easily be continued in the White House, where the President would receive "first class medical care 24 hours a day."

so Conley.

Trump met or exceeded all requirements for a dismissal.

In addition, Conley commented on the treatment and recovery of the US president.

Accordingly, Trump has neither breathing difficulties nor a fever.

The oxygen levels in the blood are also normal.

The president received oxygen twice during his stay in the clinic.

In addition, no neurological abnormalities were identified.

"Cautiously Optimistic"

"We are cautiously optimistic and ready," continued Conley.

He expects that he will not be able to give the all-clear about the president's disease course after the coronavirus infection until next week.

"If we get through the weekend until Monday and his condition remains the same or improves, then we can all finally breathe a sigh of relief."

However, the White House and Donald Trump's personal physician continue to refuse to provide information about when the US president was last tested negative for the corona virus.

He does not want to look backwards, said Conley on Monday again in response to questions from journalists.

He had also declined to answer the question in the past few days - as did Trump's spokeswoman Kayleigh McEnany on Sunday.

So far, it has officially only been said that Trump was tested on Thursday evening and got his positive result on Friday night.

It remains unclear why the time of the last negative test is kept under lock and key.

According to earlier information, Trump was tested every day.

It was revealed that he was leaving for a meeting with donors in New Jersey Thursday while the White House learned that its close adviser Hope Hicks tested positive.

The trip was still not canceled.

Conley himself had caused additional uncertainty on Saturday when he said the diagnosis was 72 hours ago.

That would indicate a positive test on Wednesday.

He later corrected a statement circulated by the White House, stating that he meant it was "the third day" after diagnosis.
