At the end of four years of refusal and a period in which the divorcee escaped from the law enforcement authorities, a random police checkpoint in the Modi'in area, one of many species stationed throughout the week, led to the arrest of a serial divorcee.

Now it turns out that one night in detention was enough to put an end to the mask of mental abuse committed by the refuser, which included a stubborn refusal to grant a divorce with repeated violations of agreements, until the refuser was granted the desired divorce last night.

A variety of reasons led to the fact that four years ago the couple sought to separate forces;

The two have already reached a divorce agreement that was given the force of a judgment in 2018, but the refusing husband decided to go back on it.

Later the court ruled in favor of divorce and delayed alimony, the husband appealed the ruling to the High Court where the parties reached another agreement, while the wife made further concessions but again the husband repeated it at the last minute.

In light of a lawyer's request, the court issued a detention order five weeks ago and the police entered the picture.

The Yad LaIsha organization, which represented the woman denied through the claimant Rebbetzin Tehila Cohen, even sought to force a divorce on the husband.

The husband left his job and after telling his children that their mother was chasing them, disappeared.

The arrest warrant issued against him was activated and as stated the random checkpoint set up yesterday led him directly to arrest and granting a divorce without any conditions.

"I have no words to describe the praise and thanksgiving that I thank the Creator of the world and His righteous messengers," M. said this morning excitedly, refusing a divorce, upon her release.

"I was an anchor for four years and in the last two months that fame accompanies me she has done above and beyond to free me from my anchorage. Professionalism, knowledge, dedication, giving and endless time were just some of the guidance and support I received. My gratitude will just dwarf all this size so I have no left But to pray that the abundance that Gd will influence in the hand of a woman and in particular in Tehila Cohen will be infinite. "

"I would like to thank the Rabbinical Court headed by Rabbi Bezeq, the Tiberias court secretary Rabbi Didi, the Safed court secretary Rabbi Elmashali and all the court secretariat employees who enlisted in the middle of the holiday to help arrange the divorce," notes the Yad Laisha woman from Beit Reshet 'Or Torah Stone' Pnina Omar.

"Again and again we come across stories of extortion of women in divorce proceedings. The divorce has become a weapon under the auspices of halakhah and has been abused for extortion, control and threats. This disgrace can no longer be borne on our heads. "The anchoring and refusal of the divorce. We have a moral obligation to the women of the Jewish world not to abandon them by bastards who hold them as property."
