Restaurants, pubs and bars
are only allowed to be open between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., but they cannot serve alcohol.
In five regions of
Scotland
, restaurants will have to close completely during this period.
Specifically, the
Scottish Prime Minister Nicola Sturgeon declared
on Wednesday (October 7th): From the coming weekend, operators will only be allowed to open their restaurants from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and offer only non-alcoholic drinks in addition to food.
