New provocation?
US President Donald Trump was working from the Oval Office on Wednesday, six days after testing positive for Covid-19, his spokesperson said.
Donald Trump is being kept informed of the discussions on the economic aid plan as well as the advance of Hurricane Delta, said his spokesperson Brian Morgenstern.
Dr Sean Conley had said earlier: "He has not had a fever for over four days and no symptoms for over 24 hours."
Traces of antibodies
He had specified that the latest analyzes from samples taken on Monday revealed traces of antibodies to Covid-19 which were undetectable Thursday evening, when he tested positive.
The behavior of the US president, who left the hospital Monday evening, is being scrutinized with particular attention as the number of people working in the White House and testing positive continues to grow.
A few hours earlier this Wednesday, an adviser had indicated that the president had visited this famous office, quickly denied by the spokesperson for the White House.
Dismay in the medical community
When he returned to the White House, had already sparked controversy.
Just after getting off the helicopter, he climbed the steps to the balcony of his residence.
There he had removed his mask and raised his thumbs, in a strange gesture of defiance.
“Do not be afraid of the Covid,” he tweeted from the hospital on Monday, causing consternation in the medical community.
On average, over the past week, 700 people died from the coronavirus every day in the United States.
