Following Trump's coronation: The second presidential confrontation between Donald Trump and Joe Biden will take place in a virtual format, the organizing committee announced today (Thursday).
This follows the Republican president's infection with the corona virus.
The confrontation next Thursday will take place in Miami, in the format of questions from the audience.
The first confrontation between the two last week was chaotic and full of insults.
Biden made it clear this week that he would not participate in the second confrontation if Trump did not fully recover from the virus.
"Candidates will attend from separate distant places," the presidential confrontation committee said, noting that the moderator and audience would be present in the Miami hall.

Trump, who was diagnosed positive for the virus about a week ago, wanted to participate in the confrontation and said, "That would be great."
The president claims he has recovered from the disease, and has once again underestimated the plague that killed 210,000 people.
In the first confrontation he mocked Biden for his insistence on wearing masks.
Biden, for his part, said there should be "no confrontation" if the president remains positive about the virus.
He told reporters in Pennsylvania that he expects to have another confrontation with his opponent, but noted that "we are going to adhere to strict rules."
