The US Presidential Clashes Committee tonight (Saturday) canceled the second clash between President Donald Trump and the Democratic presidential candidate, Joe Biden, which was scheduled to take place next week virtually.

This, after the Republican president announced last Thursday that he does not intend to participate in the virtual confrontation.

Following Trump's contagion to the corona virus, the organizing committee decided to hold the confrontation in a virtual format.

The president said it was a "waste of time" and claimed he was feeling well and could hold political rallies again.

The president's campaign said earlier that he would speak at a Florida election event this coming Monday for the first time after being diagnosed with the virus.

The announcement said the Republican president would speak at an event at Sanford International Airport in Orlando.

Biden made it clear this week that he would not participate in the second confrontation if Trump did not fully recover from the virus until its existence.

In the first interview since contracting the virus, Trump told the Fox network that the new format was not acceptable to him, and that his campaign said he would hold a political rally there.

Trump's campaign later called for a week-long postponement of the Miami confrontation, which is set to take place in the form of questions from the public, by the time the third confrontation is due to take place, and the third confrontation to be postponed this week as well, to October 29.

In the Biden campaign, they opposed moving the dates.

"Candidates will attend from distant and separate venues," the presidential confrontation committee said, noting that the moderator and audience would be present in the hall in Miami.

The committee said the decision was intended to "protect the health and safety of all involved".

The first confrontation between the two last week was chaotic and full of insults.
