There were many people who came to the lakes in the Tölzer Land this summer.

The Kirchsee in Sachsenkam is now being cleaned up.

Bad Tölz -

The rush at many lakes and rivers in the region was this summer

big.

Accordingly, a lot of rubbish has been left behind in some places - unfortunately also at Kirchsee in Sachsenkam.

For this reason, the congregation is calling for a Ramadama on Saturday, October 10th, starting at 9 a.m.

Children and young people aged 6 to 16 are invited to collect rubbish.

Mayor Andreas Rammler is looking forward to many participants and explains the background to the campaign in an interview with Tölzer Kurier employee Anna Nagy.

Mr. Rammler, why is such an event important and necessary right now?

Andreas Rammler:

The action actually comes from the district youth ring, which has already organized a number of similar actions, for example on the Isar.

The Kirchsee seemed appropriate.

The season is coming to an end and there is actually a lot of rubbish left behind because it now has to be disposed of.

How was the season at Kirchsee?

Was the rush big?

Andreas Rammler:

There was a lot going on.

Travel abroad was simply not possible or associated with a higher risk.

Therefore, many visitors - both tourists and locals - were at Kirchsee and unfortunately left a lot of rubbish behind.

Do you think anything could be done next year so that less rubbish is left behind?

Andreas Rammler:

No, not really.

There are already many rubbish bins on site, but some of the remains are two meters away.

I think there is simply a lack of attitude.

Through Ramadama, which is especially aimed at children and young people between 6 and 16 years of age, we want to raise awareness of the problem.

Perhaps one should make negative examples more public.

How will the garbage collection run with a view to Corona?

Andreas Rammler:

The participants are divided into groups that search different areas.

In addition, you have to enter your name and telephone number in a list that is kept for four weeks by the district youth council.

In addition, of course, the general rules apply, i.e. wear a mask and keep your distance.

Also, only symptom-free children and young people are allowed to take part in the event.

Can you still register if you feel like helping?

Andreas Rammler:

Anyone interested should register with Heidi Lettner on 0 80 21/5 07 98 35.
