Colonel Samir Shamma, commander of the Tartous Fire Brigade, confirmed the renewed fire in the town of Al-Anazah in Banias countryside, indicating that it is normal that the fire is in the cooling stage.
Shamma said in a statement to SANA that the cars and members of the Fire Brigade and Civil Defense are present in the area and are dealing with all the centers that have been renewed, stressing that the fire is under control and there is no fear of it spreading over large areas.
For his part, Khaled Haidar, a resident of the town, explained that the fire re-ignited about half an hour ago after Ein Al-Tal`a on the way to Al-Anaza, pointing out that the fire is still under control until now.
