During Trump's Supreme Court appointee Amy Coney Barrett's confirmation hearing, Democratic senators questioned her about her positions on abortion, health care reform and LGBTQ rights. For their part, Republicans used their time to fill her with compliments. Barrett was skillful in his answers and dodged specific questions. He even used words that the late Judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg used at her confirmation hearing. Barrett resisted the onslaught of Democrats who compared her to her mentor, the late Antonin Scalia. Another issue that he should have explained is his position on what President Trump has expressed are his expectations of his designee if the electoral contest ends up being resolved in the Supreme Court.
