Today, the French health authorities recorded 12,993 new cases of the Corona virus "Covid 19" during the past twenty-four hours, which constitutes an increase from 8,505 cases yesterday.
Reuters quoted the French health authorities as saying in a statement that the cases are still significantly lower than the record number, which reached 26,896 injuries, and 16,101 injuries, the day before.
The total deaths in France rose to 32,942, after 117 cases were recorded today, compared to 95 yesterday.
The total number of cases of the disease in the country has reached 756,472 cases so far.
In turn, French Minister of Citizenship Marilyn Sheba did not rule out the announcement by French President Emmanuel Macron tomorrow to impose a curfew in some areas of the country to contain Corona, noting that “Paris and its surroundings may be covered by the ban in an attempt to limit the rise in Corona injuries.”
France has been witnessing in recent weeks unprecedented increases in the number of recorded infections with the Coronavirus, after this indicator significantly decreased in early summer, but the number of deaths on a daily basis is far from the levels reached during the peak of the outbreak when it exceeded a thousand cases.
